33RD Annual Golf Tournament “In Memory of Charles Heatherly”

Inman Masonic Lodge is committed to our local community. Last year your donations provided operating and improvement funds to the Inman Masonic Lodge and such projects as a scholarship at Chapman High School, emergency funding and heating oil for those in need, financial support to Inman Youth Association, Christmas presents to individuals at nursing homes without families, financial support to the local departments and other projects.

Donations of $100 of more entitles you to sponsor a hole. Each sponsor gets a professional sign ad with your name or business on display at a hole. Poster ads may be divided to share financial responsibility. All sponsors names with be displayed on a board at the 18th hole. Any size donation is accepted. Any and all items or services you wish to donate will be given away as prizes.

Corporate donations of $525 or more entitles you to a poster as well as additional signs on all par 3’s and a team of four players.

Inman Lodge Potluck Dinner

Inman Masonic Lodge hosted a pot luck dinner on Friday, March 22nd. Over fifty people were in attendance for the food and fun. Many delicious dishes and desserts were on the menu. After dinner, a 50/50 raffle was held, and bingo was played for many prizes, as well as a few items being auctioned off. A part of the proceeds from the night’s event are to assist Brother Chad Pinker. He and his wife Sarah have committed to adopting four children whom they are fostering. In order to do so, they need an addition onto their house to accommodate their growing family.

Inman Lodge Food Drive

WB Stephen Pinker is spearheading a year-long food drive for Inman Masonic Lodge to help needy families in the community. “Most donations will probably go out during the holiday season.” Pinker explained. “By collecting food throughout the year, it puts less of a strain on local people and businesses to contribute.” The food drive is looking for discounts on or contributions of non-perishable food items such as dry rice and beans and canned vegetables and fruits. Spreading Holiday Cheer

One of the missions of Inman Masonic Lodge is community service.  In the past, the Lodge has had members visit the area nursing home facilities during Christmas to give gifts to the residents.  Brother David Fisgus took up the mantle this year and delivered gifts to about eighty residents of Golden Age, Inman Healthcare and Magnolia Manor.

Brother Fisgus prepared gift boxes for the men and ladies of these facilities.  They included socks for the ladies, thermal or tube socks for the men, toboggans with some of the ladies instead receiving throw blankets, crossword or word search puzzle books, personal hygiene and toiletry items and assorted candies.  These gift boxes were made possible by a generous donation from the members of Inman Masonic Lodge, as well as dental hygiene items donated from local dentists, toiletry items donated from Brother Fisgus’ co-workers, various items donated by Brother Carl Webb, and the throw blankets from an anonymous donor.

With the assistance of his daughter, Mallory, and his son, Matthew, Brother Fisgus delivered these items to the residents, remarking how wonderful it was to give to people of need for Inman Lodge.  “It was brought to my attention by the activities directors and workers of these facilities,” Brother Fisgus said, “that this is the only thing that some of these residents will get all year.”  Brother Fisgus said that a lack of time prevented him from meeting all the residents.  It is his wish that we of Inman Lodge, or better still in cooperation with other Lodges, continue with the collection and distribution of the packages.   “(We need) to spread the love and joy of the holiday season,” Brother Fisgus said.  “(We need) to see the joy and appreciation it gives some of these folks just to spend time with them, and know they aren’t forgotten.”     

Ladies Night 2018

Ladies Night was held at Inman Masonic Lodge on November 10, 2018, with forty-plus people in attendance. Brother Ray Pack’s party of sixteen included eight wives of Masons who have since passed on. An invocation was made by RWB Doug O’Shields, then everyone enjoyed a catered meal. Awards were then presented, where Brother Carl Webb received the Mason of the Year Award for 2018, and Brother David Fisgus received the Master & Wardens 150% Award. Service awards were presented to Brother Ed Lynch for 60 years of service to Masonry, and to Brother Ray Pack for 50 years of service.

After the presentation, the attendees were invited to play bingo for many prizes that were up for grabs.
